Worship Ministry

Worship is an integral part of our lives at FBC. We strive to turn the attention of our minds and the affection of our hearts to God as we honor Him through reading Scripture, making music, and praying together.

Adults

Adult Choir
The adult choir sings in the 8:30 a.m. worship service each Sunday morning. We welcome college students, senior adults, and everyone in between. This choir is directed by Andy Fowler and rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. You may join at any time throughout the year.

Young at Heart Choir
Any senior adults who love to sing are welcome to join this choir at any time throughout the year. The Young at Heart Choir makes regular visits to nursing homes around Thomasville and also sings for the rest of the church congregation on certain occasions. This choir practices on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. and is directed by Andy Daughtry.

FBC Students

FUSE Band
The FUSE band is for students in grades 7-12. This student worship ministry, with both a vocal team and a band, practices during the school year on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. in the choir room and periodically shares in worship services throughout the year. This group is led by Connor Mathis. Any student is encouraged to attend and join in worship through music!

FBC Kids

Kids Worship Arts meets Sundays at 5:00 p.m. This ministry seeks to develop the next generation of kids to be life-long worshippers and worship leaders. Kids Worship Arts helps kids discover a passion for worship and develop skills in their area of interest. Groups are organized by age:

Alpha Praise uses the children’s music curriculum Growing in Grace, geared towards their age level. Alpha Praise meets in the Fellowship Hall.
