FBC College & 20s

FBC College exists as a ministry of Thomasville First Baptist Church to help College students follow Jesus for the Joy of Thomasville and the nations.

Everything we do at FBC College is centered around Jesus. College is the most flexible and formidable part of many peoples lives. We want FBC College to be a place where the questioning find answers, the nominal Christian challenged, and the follower of Jesus spurred on to grow deeper in Christ.

Sunday Mornings

9:45 am // Life Groups

We believe life is best when we are learning with people our age. During our Sunday Morning Life Groups, we will gather around a table and talk about our faith together while somebody teaches on the Bible.

Every Sunday, Life groups meet to catch up on the week, have gospel-centered conversations around scripture, pray together, and more!

9:45 - 10:00: Intentional community building time
10:00 - 10:05: Announcements and life group lesson overview
10:05 - 10:45: Interactive Life Group lesson

11:00 am // Worship Service College Section

We want to learn about, follow, and worship Jesus in community! One of the ways we do that is by sitting together on Sundays in our worship center where we sing the Word and listen to the preaching of the Word together.

Sunday Evenings

6:00 pm // Family Groups

We believe community is the best context to know and love Jesus. Here at FBC we want friends to become family and for every person that comes to our family groups to be met with the love of Jesus as well as the teachings of Jesus.

Family Groups Structure

6:00 - 6:45: Share a meal in a church member’s house
6:45 - 7:00: Catch up on our weeks
7:00 - 7:30: Discovery Bible Study. This is where we open up the Word and let God’s word speak into our lives.
7:30 - 7:45: Corporate Prayer. We love fervent prayer at FBC and we want prayer to cover everything we do. We pray for the kingdom of God to go forth from FBC Thomasville to the Nations
7:45 - 8:00: Intentional Hangout time

Every fall, we start our year off with a week full of events where college students can come and get to know us as a church, experience community at FBC, and feel welcomed to (or back to) Thomasville!
