Thursday, April 2 // 6:30 pm

FBC Family,

Thank you so much for your prayers, patience, and encouragement as we navigate how to best serve our church and community during this time. We are introducing some big changes this week to hopefully provide more access and a sense of familiarity to our Sunday worship experience. Here’s what’s happening:

• TWO SERVICE TIMES: Beginning this Sunday, April 5, we will have two service times—9:00 and 11:00 am—both online and on TV. Choose whichever one works best for you!

• DIFFERENT STYLES ONLINE AND ON TV: Also beginning this Sunday, April 5, our online and television broadcasts will each feature a distinct worship style. Our television broadcast will feature a more traditional style of worship, while our online services (on all platforms) will feature a more modern style of worship.

• MULTIPLE ONLINE PLATFORMS: While we will continue to use as the main platform for online services, due to some technical issues in the past two weeks, we will also make alternative ways to watch our online services available from the beginning of each service moving forward. We’ll be streaming on Facebook Live and Vimeo.

• NEW TV CHANNEL: As a reminder, our new home on CNS is Channel 16, and you can still find us on Mediacom Channel 78.

Friday, March 13 // 8:00 pm

As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop, we believe that the best way to love our neighbors and care for the vulnerable in our church family is to move our Sunday worship services ONLINE. We will not meet in person this Sunday or Wednesday, and all other on-location gatherings have been suspended until further notice. Instead, we encourage you to join us in a special time of online prayer and reflection on Sunday morning, March 15, at 11:00 am. We believe that the church is not a building—it is the people of God, wherever they are. Let’s show that this Sunday by worshiping together in spirit, even when we cannot worship together in proximity.

Sunday’s online service will be accessible across our social media platforms, and through our website and email list. We will also broadcast this service via television on CNS Channels 22 and 222 (Update 3-28-20: We are now broadcasting on CNS Channel 16 instead), and Mediacom Channel 78 at 11:00 am.

Stay tuned to our social media and email updates for further information.
